Operations Data Analyst
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. We are seeking a Operations Data Analyst to support the Member Services function of a federal limited healthcare program. Your work will strengthen the operational performance of a program serving a critical mission.The World Trade Center Health Program is a limited federal health program administered by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Program provides no-cost medical monitoring and treatment for certified WTC-related health conditions to those directly affected by the 9/11 attacks in New York, the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:- Analyze operational data, metrics, and performance indicators to identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Manage the data flow process between GDIT and trading partners to make sure that all benefit assignments and supporting information are administered and updated correctly
- Research and respond to internal and external data requests, including Customer, clinic, and data center inquiries
- Conduct rootcause analysis on data inconsistencies, workflow bottlenecks, and issues affecting member experience or program performance
- Translate business needs into data requirements, reporting specifications, and actionable operational insights
- Perform data extractions, validations, reconciliations, and quality checks specific to enrollment, certification, transfer, appeals, and demographic updates with trading partners
- Support forecasting, modeling, and scenario analysis aligned with program growth and resource planning
- Assist in the development and monitoring of program performance dashboards, operational scorecards, and contract deliverables
- Lead or support special analytics and process improvement projects for Member Services
WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:Minimum Qualifications- BA/BS or equivalent, 2+ years of experience
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problemsolving skills
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI
- Ability to interpret complex operational data and communicate insights clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Must have an understanding of operational processes, workflow optimization, performance metrics, and health program data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, missiondriven environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience supporting federal health programs such as CDC, CMS, VA, or similar environments
- Familiarity with the structure and operations of health plans or other ThirdParty Administrator (TPA) contracts
